lukewarm take: if you are indeterminst about the future, you should also be indetermist about the past. the physical difference is just that the future is bigger and higher entropy. that means that (given #indeterminism) there are vastly more possible futures than possible pasts of the present event, but there still will be many past timelines that could have lead there and none of them would be more real than the others.
