The too frequent absences of alt-text for images - my Timeline is awash with this selfishness.

Alt-text protocol

A. Post is missing the alt-text for the image?

B. Check account, has it repeatly missed giving alt-text's with images? (I'm ok with a accidental absence or two or four.) -

C. Yes it has = 180 day Mute (available in Tusky app).

@nickperks @danneidle In addition to the difficulties for vulnerable people highlighted contacting the HMRC is a bit of a nightmare.

When you phone them you first have to listen to a very long message that basically tells you that the web site it quicker, the preferred meads of contact, and can probably do what you want (you've probably already spent an hour convincing yourself that it can't).

Then you have to go through a long list of options that are confusing, I mean is it a PAYE or tax code query?

Then you need to wait and listen to music for half an hour at least, before getting an answer. Once you get through I've found the staff to be really helpful and genuinely try to sort things out, but this might involve you having to be put through to another department or supervisor, with another half hour listening to music.

I don't blame the staff, they're obviously under resourced.
