@Rozzychan @AnnaAnthro Mu Dan is exposed to so many injustices (overly so, regarding status, class, gender disparity). That she eventually perseveres, is able to build a life and love for herself, with additional support from others, and tries to uplift others regarding their circumstances, especially women from every status lacking freedom, IMO is the driving force of the drama. It helps that Mu Dan's most important supporter is Jiang Chang Yang.
Rewatching the last 10 episodes of #Cdrama In The Name Of Blossom (aka Flourished Peony 2), as the earlier released ones have terrible barely useful MangoTV subtitles. And, "waiting to air" did not make for a smooth coherent viewing as I didn't want to wait (ha!), or splitting into two seasons for that matter as it was just a continuation. It was a nice watch with my favorite couple of 2025 so far.
