At the #Transat #sailing regatta from Le Havre to Martinique, three of the four competing classes have already finished their races with the #Ultim, the #OceanFifty and #Imoca category.
As for the #Class40 the race is still open. The group that headed for the Azores and a Northern route have been caught in low winds, and the group that went South is catching up quickly, making up more than 150 miles within 24 hours.
Still almost 1500 nautical miles to go.

Aber beim Ocean Race muss das Team mit den gemeldeten Leuten auskommen und diese Art von Race können Hochseesegler*innen eigentlich nicht, es sei denn, die sind mal olympische Klassen, Americas Cup oder ähnliche Wettbewerbe gesegelt. Dann kommt dazu, dass die #IMOCA Boote nicht für kurze Regattakurse gemacht sind, sie brauchen Platz und Wind. Es wird bannig spannend! Ich kanns kaum erwarten.
