Five Enough

A widower & 2 kids, living with his In-laws meets a divorced (husband cheated) co-worker with 3 kids & a grandmother. His other 2 siblings also have difficulties in their dating lives. When all the families get involved it's a big mess.

It's like 4 in 1, even at 54 episodes, it flies by. The acting is good, although Shin Hye Sun's character is quite irritating at times. Most of the other characters become quite lovable.

A bit predictable, but the main couple is so good - showing rational behavior & good communication, even with a crazy family. Their elders, drove me crazy, but it was fun watching the adult kids deal with them.

Interesting to see how stigmatized situations - 1 parent households, infidelity & family interconnections were handled.

A remake of the US "Jane the Virgin" where the chaste FL is accidentally artificially inseminated at her OB/GYN appointment. Her boyfriend is bewildered by his suddenly pregnant virgin girlfriend & the father ends up having a past connection with the FL. There are a couple of LOL moments.

The pregnancy & family storyline is sweet, but they threw in a crime storyline (which I often enjoy) that was not compelling. While it tried to stick with the family theme, it wandered off & led us nowhere.

It got a lot of hate for the ending, which I wasn't happy about at 1st, but after thinking about it, I believe the ending is the best possible outcome. The acting was decent, although I'm not a fan of Im Soo Hyang, I thought she was better here than in other things. But still, I didn't feel any chemistry between her & the MLs.

Similar to "True Beauty" & "The Beauty Inside," it examines society's beauty standards & whether love can overcome; how appearance can shape experiences & that can become part of a person.

Both the ML & FL have distanced themselves from people because of their appearance. The FL, even after plastic surgery, has trouble getting close to people.

A slower-paced college drama with a love triangle & a seemingly evil "friend" trying to ruin other's relationships. As the characters develop more self-confidence, a sweet romance begins. We see awful characters that judge everyone by appearance.

We never see the face of the FL when she thought she was ugly. She was judging herself that way. The family situations were also interesting & gave another viewpoint on beauty & talent.
