A long exposure of the sea at ‘Praia de Feiticeira’ (Feiticeira beach) on Ilha Grande (RJ, Brazil). The reddish rocks with green algae are a nice contrast to the tortoise sea and the green of the Atlantic rainforest.

A long exposure of the sea at ‘Praia de Feiticeira’ (Feiticeira beach) on Ilha Grande (RJ, Brazil). The sea urchin up front at the beach was the perfect addition, and hopefully he made it back to the sea with the next tide.

A very brazilian, tropical sight to celebrate the recent triple #Oscars nomination for our national movie "Ainda Estou Aqui/ I'm Still Here" for best film & best international film, and the epic nomination of Fernanda Torres for best actress. She's only the second brazilian actress ever to receive a nomination in this category, the first being her very mother Fernanda Montenegro, 25 years ago.

We as a country are very proud and rooting that these awards find their way down to South America, to the tropics, to Brazil.
