cc @Gina .. it is perhaps not an #OSPO theme as Adyen isn't open source, but certainly a #sovereignty thing that may be interesting to pass on to various #Dutch #government agencies, if they use #Stripe out of convenience.

Some of the cost savings are discussed in the HN thread in the top comment with an observation that "Payment processing costs are a scam", and it fits well with efforts to move away from the dependence on #Visa and #Mastercard onto #Wero (the successor to the Dutch #iDEAL payment system).

Es hängt auch von der Bereitschaft von #shopify ab, einen payment service provider (#PSP) zu integrieren, der auch Kunden in Deutschland für #wero-Transfers akzeptiert.
Es wird ja nicht nur #iDeal geben?
