“Today is World Bear Day! When the Los Angeles-class fast attack submarine U.S.S. Honolulu (SSN 718) surfaced 280 miles from the North Pole in 2003, this trio of polar bears spent two hours investigating the boat.” - U.S. Naval Institute
I so agree, it's a fantastic film. An ice cold narrative about ice cold spying and cold-war bluffing, shown in ice cold visuals of super-cool actors. Located in the ice cold waters and on the ice sheets of the arctic. Cool! One of the few films I can see again and again. It develops gravely and with austere necessity, like a Renaissance mass.
