When i worked tech support for an ISP many moons ago, a lady called in from and expensive part of FL yelling at me because her "WeeFee" was horrible and she felt she shouldn't have to pay for the service.
After some questions, asking where she was, what room her router was in, etc., she came back that she was in her office.
A few more questions and she came out and said the house was just built. It's concrete block, with her office in the center of the house, also concrete block with rebar for added support against hurricanes.
Asked her where her cell was, she grabbed it. Asked her to check the signal, she had none. She was calling AT&T next. Asked her to step outside her office by two feet. Cell service came back.
Told her, her "hurricane proof" office was a Faraday Cage. Move her stuff outside the office or hardwire into the router.
I got belittled. I got harassed. Finally said listen, here's my work email and contact number. Call AT&T. When the tech gets there have him call me and we'll walk through it together. And if i'm wrong, after 9 years in the business, I will get up and quit my job on the spot. She went silent.
A few days later, an AT&T tech shows up, called me after about 20 minutes with the lady. Had me on speaker, i jested, I won't be quitting today and wished the tech luck.
Moral of the story, just because you have money doesn't mean you know everything if anything about something you know nothing of.
