The Unseen Genocide: Gaza_Mother

A glimpse into the BasBaz darkness.

This work was inspired by a photograph found online: a mother trying to comfort her distraught son, likely mourning the loss of his entire family. Blood stains her face; the tragedy has only just unfolded. The image is raw, brutal, and unflinching. Despair is etched on the faces of people who have lost everything, hungry, cold, and desperate in a Gaza that no longer exists. In 2025, when still too many refuse to believe in the genocide perpetrated by Israel, which has killed over 75,000 people, this work bears witness. We must NEVER forget what Israel, with its accomplice the USA, has done to the Palestinian people and continues to do in 2026 as the conflict escalates across the Middle East.

This video presents two portraits of my nephew, Giova 1 and Giova 2, drawn from a photo taken just hours after his birth. The works were printed on plexiglass for the first time using bestecanvas.nl – rarely do I promote services, but the quality and prices were incredible (NOT sponsored). With a special appearance by Jaxie the Cat, who dropped by out of curiosity to see what was happening for #Caturday.

This time-lapse captures 'Tattooed Girl...' Playing with lines, I unintentionally broke her neck. I wouldn't show a flawed drawing usually, but I got so distracted by the tools that I forgot the anatomy. It's ironic: this wasn't meant to be dark, but thanks to the broken neck, it accidentally offers a glimpse into the BasBaz darkness. LOL

I use this #iPadPro M4 exclusively for drawing in Procreate, and that's it. I'd like to use the tablet for other things too, but I can't stand #iPadOS. Years ago, I had an iPhone13mini and I loved it, but on the iPad, I just hate it.

I've been looking for a way to install #Linux via a virtual machine (#VM). I found a tutorial on how to install it using #UTM, but once I tried it, I discovered that it only works on older #iPad models. Any tips on how I can put Linux on my iPad while keeping #iOS - #iPadOS for #Procreate ?
