#TIL the `Object Name` field in #IPTC contains the title but truncated at 64 characters, whereas the `ImageTitle` field in #XMP or `Title`field in #DublinCore contain the full title. π€·ββοΈ

In GIMP 3.0, when you export an image you can edit the image metadata. GIMP 3.0 now supports IPTC image metadata.
IPTC (International Press Telecommunications Council) is a standard for adding descriptive information to images, including details like copyright, photographer, and captions. This metadata is used to simplify the distribution and management of news content.
I can see the Alt-Text in the jpg- file. If i understand this correctly, the Alt-Text is part of #IPTC Core standard.
