Finally got myself one of these #IODD gizmos so that I don't need to juggle USB keys all the time. If you get one of those, heed the warning in the documentation and check the USB voltage level (by short pressing 3) - I had all kinds of issues and in the end it I was just using a USB 3 port that didn't provide enough juice.

I haven't tested this enough to really recommend it, but with enough voltage, it seems to be working fine.

@fuchsiii @nixCraft @landley I mean if I wasn't strapped for space I'd not even bother, as #syslinux just works.

And Syslinux-Distros like #Ventoy make creating #USB-#Multiboot drives easier than getting one of the #IODD cases at reasonable price and installing a 2,5" SSD into it...

@Akiko @cliffwade yeah, I didn't came around buying one of those #IODD enclosures for external 2,5" HDDs & SSDs that can boot even unmodified #WindowsXP - ISOs.

Tho #Ventoy kinda obsoleted those for almost everything...

@scy hmm....

Personally I am considering getting an #IODD case...
