The SPC has issued mesoscale discussion for the severe thunderstorm watch over northern Indiana. Storms could intensify to the east and south of Northwest Indiana down to Central Indiana.
So far it looks like the Storm Prediction Center at the National Weather Service thinks that Severe Thunderstorm Watch 78 (which has not been issued yet) will miss us just to the north.
"The strongest
storms will pose a risk of damaging wind gusts and hail.
The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 50
statute miles north and south of a line from 75 miles west southwest
of Valparaiso IN to 70 miles east northeast of Fort Wayne IN..."
