When the YouTube "about" section leads to the band's WWW site and the band's WWW site just points back to the YouTube channel with no further information, finding out even basic stuff (like that it's a pop band) can be a little tricky.
(You actually have to view the HTML source to find any description of the band at all. I'm not kidding.)
By total happenstance I caught a livestream yesterday. So I plucked up the courage to just ask.
"IMY2" stands for "I miss you, too."
This is the studio session version of the same song, from 2 years ago. The just released version has several small (but noticeable — YouTube commenters picked them out) differences, in mixing and other aspects.
But an important big difference: No upsetting music video. (-:

Interestingly, they don't put https://imy2.fanlink.tv/ysmg in the description. I found that hyperlink from the Community post about the release.
To get you into the mood for #TOTP this evening, #IMY2's song "You're still my girl" is out.
WARNING: The song isn't distressing on its own, but you might find that the music video that they've added to it to be very distressing. It gave me a shock, & I'd been forewarned by the comments section.
See next post for an alternative; or minimize player or scroll down to the comments, and do audio only.
Spot the lead singer's mother in the comments section, by the way.
A pretty damn good tribute/cover of #michaeljackson 's #BillyJean by #IMY2
We should always credit #QuincyJones arrangement and production of MJ's hits - he was the real genius behind them.
(30/54) This one from a band called IMY2 features a great singer, is well produced, and includes what I think of as some very nice surf rock guitar riffs (unique for this list): https://youtu.be/dRIS77mu5xM
