Here are ILY:1 with illang (Firework), a summer song from last year that does actually include fireworks in the MV, albeit computer generated.
A section of the MV is set in Van Gogh's "Bedroom in Arles" . Unfortunately, the visual possibilities are not explored further. Some cute interaction with animals and the girls look pretty.
I suppose one could describe the song as tropical christian horse girl, which appeals to me, but which I also understand is not everyone's cup of tea.

I was sorry to read today that ILY:1 have disbanded, as I enjoyed their cute concept songs.
This stage is charming; I am particularly taken with the mauve beret.
Kpopfans from South Korea probably find us multistans as strange as Europeans or South Americans might find somebody who claims to support lots of football teams.

ILY:1 released “I MY ME MINE” as a digital single a couple of weeks ago. The release represents a shift from the supercuteness of their previous title tracks, but it’s a change that I think works well on the whole. My only complaint is about the second verse rap, which could have been abbreviated.
I’m appending the MV as a reply to this post, but I’ve highlighted the busking because I adore this kind of urban street life vitality.

This Sunday's choice is ILY:1 performing “My Color” on The Show this last Monday. The GFriend influence is unmistakable, and that is a kpop sound I adore.* The choreography delighted me too. In fact, the only aspect I don’t love is the choice of outfits. To discuss school uniforms in kpop styling would be, to coin a phrase, beyond the scope of this toot, so I will just append a reply to this post where one can see some cute alternatives to school uniform outfits that ILY:1 wore for their previous comeback, “Twinkle Twinkle”.
