#IEEEExplore and the #ACM Digital Library are extremely useful to me. Orcid less so. I agree the citation counts are bonkers. There are no doubt a plethora of reasons why this is so, but I believe it is a common problem in many archives. Working in industry and government labs, I didn’t have to worry too much about citations to my own work. I know the situation is much different in academia.
