The new Korean government is taking new measures to improve the lives and work experience of the Korean idols. Like in other countries where there is an idol industry (Japan, China, the Philippines), it is one thing to be a Pop star and totally another to be in the sub-industry called “idol industry”.
Most often confuses the two, but the “Pop industry” is the music industry; and the “idol industry” is the one where there are strict rules and where they sell their image above their talents and humanity. It's a harsh and challenging industry to be in. And the K-pop “idol” industry is the strictest and most demanding of all idol industries.
