Shigella sonnei is a major contributor to the global burden of dysenteric diarrhoea in developed countries. In this work, authors report a S. sonnei clone which has caused numerous waterborne shigellosis outbreaks in China from 2015 to 2020.

Free HIV self-tests in MSM population do get taken up and result in more HIV tests performed.

No increase in case detection here, but shows strategy could work in other populations.

Immunotherapy for persistent parvovirus infection - patient needed exogenous type I IFN to clear!
