The Issue
Growing up in a nation that values #democracy, #peace, and the rule of #law, I could never have imagined a time when these very #principles would come under #threat from within our own #government. #Generations have fought to hold up the #ideals that built this #country; ideals that include welcoming #immigrants and ensuring that no one, not even #billionaires, #dictate our lives or #evade their fair share of #taxes. Today, I am heartbroken and #angry to see these ideals being #tarnished.
