An update: there is a bike parking area just to the right when you come in to Imperial College London from Queen's Gate in the Imperial College Road entrance, indicated by the blue P🚲 symbol in the bottom right of the Open Street Map (OSM) screenshot, just above Armstrong Road. Turns out that OSM has a clear indication of quite a few cycle parking spots on the College campus! Should have looked there to start with. 🤷

It was quite full when I got there (around noon) but enough room left for maybe 2-3 bikes.

I was quite soaked, mind you, as the skies opened while I was cycling to ICL from Blackfriars! Joined other cyclists also caught out by the unexpected downpour, sheltering under the Wellington Arch (top end of Constitution Hill), belatedly putting on waterproofs. 🤣
