Someone named Joanne A****k just reserved a Kia Soul rental from Budget. She didn't use my name. She didn't use my credit card. She didn't use my Budget account.

But she used my email address.

This seems like it should be a scam but I'm having a hard time figuring out how.

My best guess at this point is that Joanne A****k used an AI agent to make her reservations, and that agent's model somehow has my email address in a corpus of data that it felt was relevant to this transaction. #ick

I just discovered one of our indoor plants has a mealybug infestation, which are basically like head lice but for plants.

Now my head is itchy and I have that head lice ick that I’m sure all the parents out there know all too well. 😬
