@SpaciousCoder78 It'd be good if we can collect a list of Banks where this is supported with Net Banking. Looks like #ICICI don't support it. So far we confirmed Federal Bank and Bank of Baroda works.

@Edent I had a rooted phone. Whenever I opened the icici bank app it would crash, open my browser and and say "sorry your phone is rooted" on their website.

what was weird is this would randomly happen throught the day. No notification nothing. In android you have to show a persistent notification to do background processing. But this app was starting on it's own silently.

Thats when I realised banking apps can have MALWARE inside. It's better to use a website.

For whatever reason #ICICI bank decided to partner with #Amazon for a bank credit card. A customer care official called to inform me that they were offering this card to me with a large limit (and am sure to anyone who'd take it), I just need to agree to the terms. I read the terms, and tried to politely tell her for nearly half an hour that as per the terms the bank will be selling my data to amazon. She repeatedly incorrectly tried to assure me that was not the case. I refused to sign the agreement. Instead of being understanding she just hung up on me! This happened last month.

Today, the bank calls me and tells me that my Amazon Pay credit card has been "pre-approved", I just need to confirm my delivery address. WTF?! I informed her that I didn't ask for it, don't want it delivered to my house, and hung up. Their delivery person then proceeded to repeatedly call me about a dozen times. This representative even sent me an SMS requesting me to pick up the call. I had to block those numbers for my sanity.

Get your shit together #ICICI bank - NO MEANS NO!

#ICICI bank...where it is even more important to have a secure password.
It has a quirk though. If you click on autofill again, password gets filled but username becomes blank. So I do that and proceed to type username. That's better than the random password.
