I am, alas, not able to attend the congress in Utrecht this week, but I know I would have had a difficult time choosing from among the various excursion options.
(I'll have to ask friends which excursion they chose.)

Wednesday the 26th of July is excursion day at ICCS, and delegates may choose from a selection of 7 excursions. The cost for each of these excursions is 50 euro, except for Saint Patrick's Lost Chapel (40 euro), and Special Collections (free). I very much wish I were in Utrecht this week for the 17th International Congress of Celtic Studies (ICCS XVII). So many interesting papers are on the schedule, and I would have enjoyed meeting again with many longtime friends.
My best wishes to everyone in Utrecht this week, and I look forward to reading the many publications that I am certain will emerge from this congress.
