The Internationalization Working Group has published HTML Ruby Markup Extensions as a W3C Candidate Recommendation Snapshot.

Ruby, a form of interlinear annotation, are short runs of text alongside the base text. They are typically used in East Asian documents to indicate pronunciation or to provide a short annotation. This specification revises and extends the markup model established by HTML to express ruby.

Finally making some time to continue that #i18n #contribution I started a few weeks ago.

Between being on-call and then spending some time on projects that required my full attention I am finally back to this project so I can finish and send it for review. Good think I did search for an issue that was not blocking anyone and was more of a required-but-not-right-now feature 👍.
