She was best known for her roles as #HyacinthBucket (pronounced "boo-kay") in the early 1990s British comedy #KeepingUpAppearances and TV detective #HettyWainthrop . During her life, she was awarded OBE, MBE, & DBE honors and held honorary doctorates. She has also received a Tony and BAFTAs, among her many industry awards.
