I took this photo 4 years ago tonight at #UnionPool in Brooklyn. This is one of my absolute favorite shows ever attended. It was part of #RyleyWalker’s March 2019 residency there, and he was joined by #SteveGunn & #RyanJewell for about 37 minutes of glorious improv. It was recorded by Jonas Blank from @nyctaper & subsequently released on vinyl via Ryley’s #HuskyPantsRecords. Oh, what a night.

Finally got to drop a needle on the new album, “Tumble In Shade” from Danny Arakaki (#GarciaPeoples ). It features a killer cast of players and, midway through side A I’m pretty well invested.
