(Instead of giving in to the worry about the uncertainties of the future, we've been doing our best to focus on our little upstart play-by-post server for Hunter: The Reckoning/Hunters Hunted, set in Helsingborg, Sweden, also known as "Hunter City" to those familiar with the more shadowy side of the World of Darkness.)

Hunters Hunted in Hunter City

We begin with an independent hunter, Carmen, looking to join the ranks of the local chapter of the Arcanum, and a neophyte, Lilia, looking into strange goings-on in and around Wilson Park – people going missing, and weird sounds, sights, and smells coming from an allegedly empty apartment.

Even though they've just met, it's already looking like the two will team up to investigate a potential haunting or blankbody hideout – or both.

Lilia's study of the collated research in the Arcanum archives indicated to her that a Deadspeaker blank could be the reason for the apparent overlap, and Carmen turns out to have had a run-in with one such vampire before she decided to join up with the Arcanum.

It remains to be seen who will join them, on this excursion into the domain of the living dead...
