JdeBPI didn't get to see the dawn today for once. It comes of being in Wiltshire in the wee small hours trying to navigate alternative routes caused by road closures, diverting along single track B roads, in the pitch black, twice.
I actually got to see one of the deer that the triangle roadsign warned about, on a different road though, in my headlights. And a fox.

At midnight last night, after the G.P. surgery visit, office pizza lunch to organize, leaving meeting, and transport of a relative from xyr home to Wiltshire, I was trying to drive back through #Hungerford and encountered two separate road closures in the dark. Surprise unsigned mini lane closure on the motorway too.
I even snuck in voting in the middle of all that.
I'm taking it easy today.
Let's just say that being unable to drive back through #Hungerford at midnight because of 2 road closures was the icing on the cake. (-:
