Berliner Schloss (Berlin Palace), Schlosspassage (Castle passage). Am no friend of the palace, of the idea beghind re-building it after demolishing old GDR Palast der Republik (Palace of the Republic). But I have to admit, it sure makes some niced spots for photographic fun. oh, did I mention I loooove lines?

Berliner Schloss, Schlosspassage. Ich bin kein Freund des Schlosses und der Idee, es nach dem Abriss des alten DDR Palast der Republik wieder aufzubauen. Aber ich muss zugeben, dass es auf jeden Fall ein paar schöne Orte zum Fotografieren hergibt. Ach, habe ich mal erwähnt, dass ich Linien lieeeeebe?

I started my new big sketchbook yesterday. I saw the bird man the other day and I really wanted to sketch him. The tribe at #Nagaland is so interesting. I think I will go back and check the audio tour or a guide.

Im September hatte ich euch die gleiche Szene am #HumboldtForum in #Berlin schon gezeigt – eine wenige Sekunden früher aufgenommen Aufnahme. Bei dieser Aufnahme hier konnte ich die störende vertikale Trennlinie (Dehnungsfuge?) durch den Zuschnitt entfernen. Dafür ist der Mann sehr in die Ecke gerückt. Das extreme Breitformat ist auch nicht möglich – 4:3 ist für dieses Medium vermutlich sowieso die bessere Wahl.

In September, I showed you the same scene at the #HumboldtForum in #Berlin – a shot taken a few seconds earlier. In this shot, I was able to remove the distracting vertical dividing line (expansion joint?) by cropping it out. As a result, the man is pushed further into the corner. The extreme wide format is also not possible – 4:3 is probably the better choice for this medium anyway.

There was a Flashmob dance performance of a group called Desperado. This was beyond my comfort zone, I tried to not overthink and loosen up a bit.
