Ho Yum Blind Tasting Club Tea Number 1 was a spring 2024 "yesheng baicha", or white tea from uncultivated trees, on Big Snow Mountain in Yongde, Lincang. You've probably noticed the theme of Ho Yummy BTC-08, all the teas were sourced during their trip to Lincang in Yunnan.
Ho Yum Blind Tasting Club Tea Number 3 was a "2024 Yabao Hong Cha" made from uncultivated trees on Big Snow Mountain in Fengqing, Lincang. Most teas are made from the buds and leaves at the end of the branch. Yabao teas are made from buds along the sides of the branch. Usually Yabao tea is made in a white tea style, but this tea is made in a method closer to black tea. Definitely unusual!
Ho Yum Blind Tasting Club Mystery Tea Number 4 was a black tea made in spring 2024 from wild tea trees grown in a tea master's personal garden in Fengqing, Zhonghe, Lincang. Technically a "Dian Hong", it drinks much more elegantly than most teas sold under that name.

Ho Yum Blind Tasting Club Mystery Tea No 5 was a 2024 raw puerh from Yongde, Lincang. Truly "hand made", the proprietors of Ho Yum Tea made this very small batch of raw puerh entirely themselves, from picking and sorting of the leaves to wok frying and drying the tea.
