I was telling an antique dealer friend of mine about how whenever we had an opportunity to stay at a Howard Johnson's when we were traveling on vacation, my dad would always choose hojo's. We probably actually stayed at 100 different Howard Johnson's all over the country when I was a kid. This friend were kind enough to give me this ashtray as a bit of a remembrance. Makes me think of all the trips we took and makes me think of my dad.
