Houston City Council to stop publishing addresses, phone numbers of public speakers

The city had recently begun enforcing an existing rule requiring the publication of home addresses and phone numbers for public speakers at city council meetings. After pro-Palestinian organizers raised safety concerns, four council members pushed to keep personal information out of the public domain.
