The Harris County Sheriff's Office released body camera footage from a May incident in which deputies shot at a man more than 10 times, killing him. The sheriff's office alleges he was trespassing and refused to exit his vehicle.

Body camera footage shows Harris County deputies shooting, killing man wielding knife

Ishmael Dennis, 65, was sleeping in his vehicle and allegedly refused to leave the parking lot of a Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in northwest Houston on the night of May 5. Deputies ended up firing several gunshots at him after he produced a knife during a struggle, the video shows.

Harris County deputies shoot, kill man trespassing, sleeping in vehicle at north Houston clinic

A deputy around 11 p.m. Monday responded to a call about a suspicious man inside of a vehicle at the north Houston clinic in the 15600 block of Cypresswood Medical Drive. The deputy made contact with the man, who allegedly refused to comply with orders to step out of the vehicle or roll down a window.
