On "Start Fighting Trump Now”
For what it's worth I’ve contacted both CA Senators (Schiff and Padilla) and my House Representative (Panetta) and suggested that they get off their butts and stand up, start fighting, and do something now to stop Trump and his illegal actions and the criminal actions of those like Musk.
I haven’t heard a peep out of these people and it’s beyond time for us to start putting significant pressure on our elected officials.

As a Democrat, I’m becoming more, at best, disappointed in Democrats in the #HouseofRepresentives and the #Senate. I expect a strong opposition by the Democrats. Other than #AOC, #AlexandriaOcasioCortez, I’ve seen very little from my Party.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene maintained Sunday that she plans to follow through with an effort to oust House Speaker Mike Johnson if he doesn’t resign after the House passed a $95 billion package that includes foreign aid for Ukraine.
Deposing #KevinMcCarthy is too small a goal. #Democrats could use the #Republicans' rule against them, repeatedly, to bring the #HouseOfRepresentives to a halt until some larger goal is met.
(A power-sharing agreement? A Democrat as #speaker?? Definitely including the expulsion of the lying liar #GeorgeSantos or whatever his name actually is, as well.)
So, the #GOP (and only the Republicans) in the #HouseofRepresentives just voted and passed a new set of rules for the operation of, and order of business.
They have a list of a 1/2 dozen bills they will introduce, for which there are to be no amendments, no first reading (deemed to have happened), no more than hour debate.

- revoke protections against oil exploration
