I've never been convinced by the song. That performance was an absolute top-drawer brilliant treat - mean and moody and sold brilliantly. Desperate shame it's their one and only #TOTP hit.

"Shine on" - House of Love

A John Peel fave since first release in spring 1987, thanks to Terry Bickers' superlative guitar work, setting a dark and menacing mood from the opening. Guy Chadwick has a story to match.

Plenty of dry ice fills the stage, and they do the "teal backdrop, orange for the singer" trick with the coloured lights - great contrast, especially when it's reversed during the middle eight.
