Dan French on Instagram: "Safe to say we were very happy with our choice to base our first visit to Sicily in Taormina, the beautiful hilltop town that offers plenty of charming spots to take in the Sicilian island vibes, with Mount Etna serving as backdrop. We were also very happy with our chosen hotel, @hotel_ariston , with a location that we found hard to beat; right below the Teatro Antico and around the corner from the bus stop, the cable car to Isola Bella and public gardens. Historical churches, quaint shops and restaurants with a view dot the main street and rocky hillsides, and there’s cool spots to head to after the sun sets everywhere.
