Yay after a week I finally have hot water!

And also a smart switch so I can say 'Alexa turn on the hot water' like a posh person*

*it's posh to me.

I've been living in a flat with a manual hot water tank since 2016. Tried to put in a timer or smart switch since well before he died....

So yes having to remember to switch the tank on and not forget it for 3 weeks as I did once (and of course he never checked it or switched it on or did anything around the flat even though it was his!) - has been fun.

So just done the washing up, going to have a celebration bath later.
