AGI - La nuova Guida suprema dell'Iran Mojtaba Khamenei sarebbe sopravvissuta ai bombardamenti condotti da Stati Uniti e Israele contro il complesso della guida suprema a Teheran perché si trovava fuori dall'edificio pochissimi minuti prima dell'impatto dei missili. È quanto emerge da un audio trapelato citato dal quotidiano britannico The Telegraph, che ricostruisce per la prima volta nei dettagli l'attacco del 28 febbraio.
Secondo la registrazione, attribuita a Mazaher Hosseini, responsabile del protocollo dell'ufficio della guida suprema, Mojtaba Khamenei era uscito "nel cortile per fare qualcosa" pochi istanti prima che missili balistici israeliani Blue Sparrow colpissero la residenza alle 9:32 ora locale.
L'attacco e le vittime
L'attacco avrebbe preso di mira l'intero complesso dove viveva la famiglia di Ali Khamenei, uccidendo la guida suprema iraniana insieme a diversi alti dirigenti militari e politici della Repubblica islamica. Nell'audio, diffuso durante una riunione con religiosi e comandanti dei pasdaran, Hosseini afferma che Mojtaba Khamenei è rimasto ferito a una gamba, mentre la moglie e il figlio sarebbero morti sul colpo. Anche il cognato della nuova guida suprema sarebbe stato ucciso nell'esplosione.
Il complesso colpito e l'obiettivo
Il complesso colpito comprendeva l'ufficio della guida suprema, una sala religiosa dove Ali Khamenei teneva i suoi discorsi e le abitazioni di diversi membri della famiglia. Hosseini sostiene che l'attacco fosse progettato per eliminare contemporaneamente l'intera leadership iraniana e la famiglia Khamenei, con più missili lanciati su diversi edifici del complesso.

AGI - The new Supreme Leader of Iran, Mojtaba Khamenei, is believed to have survived the bombings conducted by the United States and Israel against the Supreme Leader’s complex in Tehran because he was outside the building just a few minutes before the missile impact. This emerges from a leaked audio cited by the British newspaper The Telegraph, which for the first time reconstructs in detail the attack of February 28th.

According to the recording, attributed to Mazaher Hosseini, head of protocol for the Supreme Leader’s office, Mojtaba Khamenei had left “to the courtyard to do something” just a few moments before ballistic Israeli Blue Sparrow missiles struck the residence at 9:32 local time.

The attack and the victims
The attack targeted the entire complex where the family of Ali Khamenei lived, killing the Supreme Leader of Iran along with several senior military and political officials of the Islamic Republic. In the audio, released during a meeting with religious figures and Pasdaran commanders, Hosseini states that Mojtaba Khamenei was injured in a leg, while his wife and son were killed instantly. The Supreme Leader’s brother-in-law was also killed in the blast.

The struck complex and the target
The complex struck included the Supreme Leader’s office, a religious hall where Ali Khamenei held his speeches, and the residences of several members of the family. Hosseini claims that the attack was designed to eliminate the entire Iranian leadership and the Khamenei family simultaneously, with multiple missiles launched on several buildings of the complex.
