Having spent the last several months dealing with the healthcare system and my mother-in-law's terminal illness, I highly recommend asking for a palliative consult as soon as possible. Also hospice provides such beautiful care for end of life where no treatment is available. It's a shame Manitoba only has 16 hospice beds but we hope for the future. #Illness #Cancer #Hospice

One of our volunteers had a heart attack

And since we don't see people on a regular basis we've been working on getting the card signed for the past week- it was going to go out in the mail on Monday.

I just found out tonight that the person is now in hospice.

I'm not sure if we should still send the card.
