The car's tire grabbed his bike wheel. As he was dragged under the Tesla to be crushed the last thoughts that ran through his head were: "Well this metaphor is a little on the nose."
He swiped up on his phone on the camera app. Rather than closing it, it flipped to the front facing camera. A truly horrible sight struck him.
His own face.
He brought the knife down again and again.
His victim, through bloody coughs, managed to choke out: "Why?"
"Well, you see, freewill is an illusion."
