So something like the #PostOffice #HorizonScandal could then happen to all #SelfEmployed people... a software bug creating the impression they have something wrong when they haven't. What a bright idea.

I don't understand the thinking of closing the scheme for compensation like this.

Surely anyone who misses the deadline can then simply sue? Because the injustice still exists, so closing the scheme will simply increase civil action against the Post Office?

Over 70 civil society organisations, academics and data protection experts have urged the Chair of the Select Committee for Science Information and Technology to open an inquiry into the collapse in enforcement activity by the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
