Just a few hours ago, there was no time to be afraid or even to speak. There was only time to run.
We were given five minutes to evacuate. Then, a warplane missile tore through the area. The worst part is that we are living in fragile tents that can barely withstand the scorching summer heat—let alone a missile. We were in Al-Mawasi, Khan Younis, only a few dozen meters away from the strike.
The terror I witnessed with my own eyes is beyond what any camera could ever capture. The faces of frightened children, the screams of mothers, shattered dreams scattered among the tents, and the overwhelming fear for your own family...
Even the tent is no longer a place of safety. 💔

Khan Younis... Before the War and After
Khan Younis was once a city full of life. Its streets were bustling with people, its markets were vibrant and busy, and the laughter of children filled the neighborhoods and homes. We had beautiful memories, warm houses that brought families together, and simple dreams that gave meaning to our days.
Today, the war has changed the face of my city. Entire neighborhoods have been reduced to rubble, and many of the places that were once part of our daily lives have disappeared. The streets that were once alive with activity now bear witness to destruction, and the homes that sheltered our dreams remain only in our memories.
Khan Younis is not just a city on a map; it is a collection of stories, lives, and memories of people who have lost so much yet continue to hold on to hope. Despite the pain and devastation, our love for our city is stronger than the war, and we continue to dream of the day it will once again be filled with life and peace. 🇵🇸💔
