Set of 6 IKEA white, extra large (31 x 26cms approx) rectangular serving/dinner plates. Made of durable feldspar porcelain, these match the white 18 piece Vardera dinner set that is always available (as are individual replacement pieces).
Excellent unused and as new condition (they have been stored in cupboard and have no marks or chips). Microwave and dishwasher safe. Ikea product number 602.773.59 which are currently for sale online at £6 per plate.

Royal Mail stamp price increase from 7th April 2026
Stamp prices are set to rise again next month despite repeated failures by Royal Mail to meet its delivery targets and amid growing concerns over the performance of the service. Royal Mail said the price of a second-class stamp would go up by 4p to 91p and first-class stamps would increase by 10p to £1.80 from April 7.

Solid oak, front door for sale
Original, solid and heavy, circa early 1930's, approx 94 years old.
As it's oak, unsurprisingly the door is very heavy.
It has three hinges, but no keys for the locks so the mortice and Yale will need replacing, they can be easily unscrewed and removed.
It has been painted a grey/blue colour in the past (see pictures), however once stripped back to the original oak wood it will show it's beautiful hay/straw like colour, or it can be stained by new owner.

Kinleigh, Folkard and Hayward (KFH)
I see that not only have KFH shut down in Forest Hill but the who business buying, selling and rental has been bought out.
Whilst surprising that this has happened (perhaps less so in the economic climate), IMO it's a loss to Forest Hill. Similar in a way to what Dexter's did a couple of years ago now taking over effectively most of the local independent Estate agents.
But the premises could be turned in any sort of other business, it will be interesting to see what replaces KFH. It's a prime spot for a good deli.

Epidemic car theft
Sorry to report a further two cars stolen from our road, one over night about a week ago and one this afternoon from someones driveway.
This has to stop and the Police need to seriously get to grips with the issue. It'll not only be car premiums going through the roof but house insurance as well at the rate it's going.
Since I'd guess January 2024 the road has had probably in the region of 12-15 stolen.
