Heute vor 101 Jahren … wurde hoch in den Hügeln von #LosAngeles ein Symbol geboren #HOLLYWOODLAND. Die Reklame für eine Wohnsiedlung entpuppte sich als #Traummaschine für eine ganze #Industrie. Sie rief uns damals: „Was ist wichtiger – das #Ich oder das #Wir?“ – und die Antwort blieb offen. 🖖

Tourmaline "Mal" the #weabaru & I wound our way up to the Hollywood Reservoir to see this cool sign.
As someone who hopes to keep telling stories on bigger & bigger scales, looking at the letters, and also out across LaLa Land, I got a little emotional.
Here's hoping all our journeys have things to teach us, whether at the destination &/or in the getting there, because that's how stories are made, and why they matter.
