The random facts that get dumped into the prose in the Geek Girl books (in response and to further plot points) are part of what makes them so good. That and the comedy. And characters you actually like. And ones you don’t. Fantastic. So glad my brain decided to reread them. 😊

Finished rereading Geek Girl by Holly Smale. I enjoyed it immensely. I first read it in 2015 when I was reading books outside of my usual genres and also outside of what would be targeted at my demographic.
I’m so glad I did. It’s a phenomenally good book. LOL funny. Smart. Well written. I highly recommend it to everyone. Irrespective of age or gender.
