The cruise has gotten a bit better, mainly because I'm spending a lot of time in the spa. Many staff are grumpy, the food is meh, and they've cancelled two of our excursions. The ones I was looking forward to the most. But I'm working on making my own fun.
Tomorrow is Ocho Rios Jamaica and Dunn's River Falls.
Also the food sucks. Everyone RAVES about the Dutch Cafe but the food was terrible, and the chocolate covered cream puffs tasted stale. I have got to stop taking food recs from people not from New Jersey because y'all are too easily impressed by some nonsense.
But! The sushi chef asked how spicy I wanted my Dan Dan noodles, and laughed hard when I said WHITE PEOPLE SPICY.
YOU GUYS
This #HollandAmericaLine cruise completely sucks. The room was dirty when we got to it; getting a drink is like pulling teeth: I asked for a rum punch, they didn't have it, asked for a Pina colada, no dice, then later asked for something on a menu at a restaurant, nope; hair dryer is less powerful than having my husband just blow on my head and it doesn't plug into the outlet in the bathroom; on and on little stuff, big stuff. I'm thoroughly unimpressed by this.
