A farewell to my favourite mug

We have the habit of buying pottery mugs to commemorate our travels, but I don’t believe in ornaments so they get used and they get broken. Thus its time came.

I knocked off the handle, my partner knocked the whole thing to the floor while it was waiting for repair.

For almost almost twenty years, my Menton mug brought back pleasant memories of my several weeks’ sojourn in that lovely little French town 🥰
