I have been working on terrain lately. Enjoy crafting from materials you can get freely or cheaply. 🙂 packaging foam, cardboard, pva+polly-fill, acrilic + texture spray paints, washes and with some flock + rocks. Trying to keep it simply.

Lucius is done!
Now I am ready for the "bring one mini of your choice"-challenge at the local Warhammer Store next weekend.
It was a very welcome kick in the butt to get me to finally build and paint him. Apparently I am motivated by competitive stuff. Who would have thunk.

Now back to painting the winter Squigs.

I want to paint minis so bad! But when I'm stressed it just doesn't work. I need a relaxed mind for that!

I have so many supercool minis to paint! Like my Squig-herd. Or my pinup-EC. Or Vulkan and Fulgrim, both of which I already started but who now sit on my desk, doing nothing.

Damn.

I hope the stressful weeks are now over.

Action shot of today's hobbying. I zenithaled Fulgrim and a son of Vulkan. The latter will be used for testing the green Shifter Paint hues before I put them on Vulkan himself. He will be so shiny and pretty! And I will test Shifters over darkened metallics. Let's see how it will work out!

I went for a non-traditional colour scheme for Salamanders. 😁

And because I can I added a bit of UV colour. Just for shits and giggles.

Sloppity Bilepiper and his Little Lord are done!

As usual, I had a lot of fun with bright colours and gradients. The mushrooms have Shifter Paints-caps and UV-glow dots, There's coloured resin and a lot of swamp gel for added Nurgleness.

The Litle Lord is taking to the stage, singing (or screeching? Squeaking? Belching) to the tune of the Bilepipers bagpipe.

Today's hobbying: Painting the base for the Sloppity Bilepiper and his Nurgling.

I built it to look like a little stage. Nurgling will go on the front, Bilepaper in the back.

I used a lot of swamp gel and coloured some UV-resin, too. Also, Shifter colours on the mushroom heads and UV-glowing plasma coil effect colour on Mushroom-dots.

Today I got up at 5:30 and was full of hobbying spirit!

So I got the Shifter paint on Lucius and even added some details.

Tomorrow: More details, base and done!

I love the Shifters effect on his armour. It's not as overwhelming as with my test-mini and it fits him so perfectly!
