Tried out how the pochade box works by making a little landscape painting. I limited the palette to 3 colors. It was fun.

This is my painting of the Charles Bridge at Night. It is based on a photograph my wife took while visiting Prague last January.

Dann nutze ich mein ersten Beitrag mal um ein meiner Orks zu präsentieren 😂 Er ist noch ganz neu und sein Charakter ist noch in Bearbeitung aber der erste Versuch gefällt mir schonmal ganz gut.

My Christmas gift this year was a book on how to draw body parts. Not exactly anatomically correct, but more from the artist's point of view.

So I'm planted on the couch practicing how to draw eyes and their features.

I finally finished this pencil drawing. Kind of happy with it. I found it difficult as I was trying to express depth using simple pencils.

Working on my wife's #birthday gift. She had asked for a small #painting based on a funny dream she had. It has forced me to learn how to #draw anthropomorphic mice.

This is the base sketch, now I need to start painting it. I'm thinking of using #acrylics as they will dry faster.
