French onion sourdough, as requested by my kiddo.
Looking forward to a very Hobbity weekend.
Hoping to finish the bee and honeycomb embroidery today so that tomorrow I can sew my Hedgerow Dungarees
Gonna be baking some french bread today to go with the gumbo which I'll also be starting on shortly. Plus sourdough dumplings for hubby's stew as he doesn't like gumbo.
Tomorrow I'll be making some sourdough bagels and I'm thinking of doing a lil olive sourdough loaf as well.
I did it! I did it! I did it!
I picked up our weekly grocery order on my bike.
The trailer attachment didn't fit (will need a teensy mod that I didn't have time for this morning) so backpack, cargo rack, and two panniers! But I fugging did it.
Fresh lemonade and fresh baked pretzels. It's a tasty day in this Hobbit home.
Super productive day after managing to go back to sleep this morning.
Made new England rolls for tonight's dinner. Baguettes for tomorrow.
Have potato slices drying out to make fresh crisps for dinner.
Also did all of the laundry (sheets, towels and clothes!), cleaned the living room, gave the couches a refresh with hypochlorous acid water (I love my Nellie's 99).
Now we're curled up watching f1 sprint quali.

I did it!!
Took a min to figure out how best to secure the bike to the rack. Even with pictures it's hard to judge size (lol)
But managed to get the back tire and frame to the rack with the litelok x3 and then the front tire to the frame with the litelok core plus.
I am ridiculously pleased with myself and feeling a weeee bit smug if I'm being honest lol.
(super glad my backpack arrived today, made everything easier)

Very short ride today in the rain. The rain wasn't actually too bad but my glasses were definitely getting watery! (sunglasses not script - but I have photosensitive eyes so going w/o is not an option)
After yesterday's awful migraine it was nice to get out for a small bit even if the activity did bring back a smol headache.
Now I have some baguette dough proofing and I'm about to curl up with my murder show (Shetland)
FINALLY got things put away in the living room (it was a mess while I worked on sewing stuff).
So this morning, *before coffee* I swept and mopped the floor.
It's cold and sunny outside. There's a bowl of overnight sourdough waffle batter ready to go for when kiddo wakes up.
The birding station is full of birds (the stellar's jays are back!)
Life is good.
